Creative Loafing Flickr Contest

I received word last week that one of my City Hall East photos was selected as the winner for the Creative Loafing Flickr contest. Rarely do I win anything. And by rarely I of course mean…never. You can tell that I never win anything because I thought the mail was spam at first.
So this was a nice treat on a Friday afternoon. I won a pair of tickets to see REM at Lakewood.

Recently I had my first photo stroll with some really great people: South Atlanta Flickr. The group’s admin, Julie Harnage, and a few others continued after I had to leave. Go Wide: The Sigma 10-20mm Lens for Nikon

If you ask my buddy Dave, he will tell you “’bout time” as I have been discussing this for too long. On Friday, my Sigma 10-20mm lens arrived and I couldn’t be happier.
As you know, the cost of everything is going up. Buying a new lens is sadly something I do not engage in as often as I would like. While a new lens can be a big jump in terms of the checkbook, I also want to be as economical as possible, which is why I chose the Sigma lens. Read more »
