For those who are not members or could care less, Deviant Art has recently launched version 6 of their site.  While I have not been a member since jump, I have been there for a little while now (actually 7 years as of this month) and seen it transition considerably. I have received a lot of positive feedback from the first set of hi-res grunge textures that I released back in May. I like the idea of throwing out some large images for others to use without locking it down so there are a ton of silly rules.  I always get frustrated when I locate a resource but run into an obstacle placed there by the creator. This past Friday I joined forces with some fellow photographers for a South Atlanta Flickr model shoot.  A bit nervous regarding the outing, as I have never shot models prior to this, I was more excited about what I would be learning from the others there.  I was not disappointed. Read more »
