Model Shoot: On Set with South Atlanta Flickr Part II

The second attempt at a group model shoot in Locust Grove went pretty darn well, especially considering it marked only the 2nd time that the group had done something like this. This shoot was a collaboration between several people involved with various photography or art groups.
Everyone came together, volunteering their time selflessly. Julie arranged 2 models and a stylist and the folks behind Urban Photographix not only opened their doors to the group again, but did a great job in helping prep the location for a group of photographers. Dan Edwards, man, myth, and legend was kind enough to bring his lighting, as did Allison and David.
Here are my galleries of processed photos taken of each model.

Edward Bryan – Entire Set

Jessi – Entire Set

Zan J – Entire Set
For those interested in the behind the scenes, here are a few shots that I took while everyone was working.
These images were taken inside of the location and were some of the first shots of the evening. Jessi was on the bike and several photographers were taking turns getting some shots.

The weather finally cooperated and allowed us to get outside. When we first got there and were ready to shoot, Mother Nature decided to poor rain on us. Thankfully it didn’t last too long so we got outside.

Just for good measure, here is my buddy Dave: The Lone Gunman. Just thought it was funny to see him standing in the middle of the street with that massive glass, body bladed to the model.

All in all, it was a really fun time. I have thoroughly enjoyed these events as I am continually learning. The atmosphere is always friendly and the egos have always been left at the door, which is great.
If you are local to the area and want to participate, drop me a line.
