This is one of the best photos I've seen in a long time. Having worked at the site of Jefferson Davis' capture at the end of the Civil War, I certainly have had my own experiences with reenactors. Nice shot. Like you, I was totally floored when I got the email last week. People ask me how I get "those shots" and I say "Just by walking around". Basically, that is it in a nutshell.
