Where did the name Dubtastic come from?
Back in college (well, still to this day) one of my favorite hip-hop groups was EPMD.  The name Dub, was a very shortened version of J-Double the Brown Eyed Bandit, a drunken nickname based on Erick Sermon’s nickname.  When I started looking online for a domain name, the trend was to put a number or some type of studio in the name.  I wanted to do something different so I snagged dubtastic.com.

Is it true you used to be a cop?
Yes.  I worked for a few years on the streets and loved every minute of it.  I still miss it.  However, I had to put my family first so finding something safer with a better schedule was in the cards instead of busting perps. 

Are you available for freelance work?
Sure thing.  Please send me an email with details on your project and I will let you know my availability and rates.

Can I use _____ from your site?
Regardless of what I might have put in the brush and stock photography packages in the past, they can be used for any project you have.  Like many still do, I used to limit use to non-commerical only, however, for those of you out there trying to keep the lights on with your creative moonlighting, you need all of the free resources you can get.  Use the brush sets and stock photo packages how you like.

Why is Justin so interested in Rod Stewart?
This has quite a long history and it originated with Justin’s fascination with Rod’s hair.  He has attempted to emulate Rod’s horrible hair ever since.  In 2004, Justin was involved in an odd encounter with Kentucky police, where he was found to have a stash of Rod Stewart underwear in the trunk of his car, wedged in between old issues of Tiger Beat.

Who do you use now for hosting?
I have moved on to Dreamhost and have not looked back.  If you are interested in hosting, hit them up, and use promotional code ‘DUB30′ to knock 30 duckets off the price tag.

What WordPress theme are you using?  Can I have it?
I am using a Graph Paper Press theme.  You can have it, but you need to shell out some duckets in their direction.

How did you create your artwork & photography galleries in Flash?
I purchased the XML Flash Gallery from the fine folks over at FlashNifties.com.
